International Bagpipe Conference

The First International Bagpipe Conference took place on the 10th March 2012 at Senate House, London with the support of SOAS, the Institute for Musical Research, the British Forum for Ethnomusicology, the Bagpipe Society and the EFDSS. Over a hundred people attended with a day of talks and concerts showcasing the many different bagpipes in the world.
