Radio is a powerful information source for mobilising social change and a focal point for community life. In recognition, UNESCO declared 13th February 2012 as the first World Radio Day. It was celebrated all over the world and at SOAS, a variety of practitioners, academics and tool providers came together to explore new perspectives on traditional radio.
