Welcome to Coming Here: Being Here, a heritage project exploring Somali history in the East End, by Numbi Arts.

In this episode we are joined by Celeste Bell daughter of Punk legend, Marianne Joan Elliott-Said AKA Poly Styrene and producer of film ‘Poly Styrene: I am a Cliche’. Please stay tuned for an intimate discussion dissecting the life of Poly Styrene, exploring; identity, race, gender and spirituality with Kinsi Abdulleh, founder of Numbi Arts, who is helping Celeste trace her Somali relatives. We are also joined by resident researchers of Numbi, Asma Kabadeh, and Hodan Omar Elmi.
