Zhongdong Wave is a show on culture and history of Middle-East in Mandarin Chinese and English.

In this episode, we were delighted to invite our two guests Kaiyun and Vivien to talk about Iranian films with us. As an increasingly well-known country for film production, Iranian films has been well accepted and appreciated by audiences. It not only challenges our visual perception, but also brings many of us with a window to understand the contemporary Islamic world as a whole.

We will cover the following films in our talk: A Separation (2011), Children of Heaven (1999), The Colour of Paradise (1999), Persepolis (2007), Taste of Cherry (1997), and The Wind Will Carry Us (1999).
