In our fifth episode, we move away from mainland Southeast Asia and travel to the Philippines. We explore a range of musical styles, from the folk music of Rondalla guitar ensembles to the popular hits of Original Pinoy Music (OPM). We are also joined by ethnomusicology students Jordan (SOAS) and Lesther (Royal Holloway), who share some of their favourite tracks.
