Cal Jader throws down another selection of Latin beats from digital sounds to roots rhythms. Inspired by Baiana System’s debut gig in the UK this summer there’s a emphasis on some contemporary Afro-Brasilian sounds with some of the hot artists from Salvador & Sâo Paulo plus a brand new collaboration between Emicida and Ibeyi. Elsewhere there’s fresh cuts from Cero39 and Heavy Baile as well as more from new albums by Chancha via Circuito, El Hijo de la Cumbia, La Dame Blanche, El Dusty, Cumbia Chicharra and the Subelo Cuba Havana Cultura project and ZZK double bill King Coya and Uji.
