Movimientos 6/11/13 Wed, 2013-11-13 13:19

Amongst some upfront new tunes from NYC’s La Mecanica Popular, Mexico’s Los Macuanos, Brazil’s Met? Met? the show features a track taken from the – just released – new album from Colombia’s Systema Solar. Elsewhere more new music from Colombia with La Republica and Matta Collective plus French duo Souleance bring a brazilian vibe to their electronic beats from their new EP. And a little nueva-Mexicana double to finish the show with electro-Jarocho from Sistema Bomb and Las Cafeteras bringing back the original revolutionary spirit of La Bamba.

Plus we introduce two new occasional features ‘Diggin’ in the hardrive’ with some recent classics from the recent Movimientos digital vaults and a ‘sampled’ feature – this week with the killer Cuban Salsa track Munchi ripped for his latest Moombahton banger.
