To tie in with the Fiesta Liberacion event on Saturday 3rd December Cal Jader invites special guests Magu Vagamundo and Le Yeko onto the show with some new and classic sounds of Venezuela, plus Uruguyan photo journalist and cultural activist Julio Etchart discusses some classic nueva trova and tropicalia selections in tribute to Fidel Castro and the politically inspired latin folk music of the 60s. Plus we toast the latest Alborada magazine with some tunes celebrating female empowerment from Rebeca Lane and Kumbia Queers alongside some classic salsa from Joey Pastrana.
