In August’s show we continue to celebrate the rich cultural heritage in Jewish Music. Klezmer in the Park will begin on September 1st and we interview almost the whole supporting cast. From producer Noa Lachman, DJ and host Max Reinhardt, Yiddish Twist Orchestra’s Ben Mandelson, Frank London of the Klezmatics, Hayley Blitz of Los Desterrados, Chair of the JMI Board of Trustees Jennifer Jankel and the JMI’s artistic director Sophie Solomon all are featured in this month’s show. We also look back to July and the 2013 Israeli Music and Ernest Bloch Competition and interview both its founders Sagi Hartov and Professor Malcolm Troup.
