AWIL 251 - Amanda Noar Thu, 2018-03-08 22:49

Impact Theatre Company director Amanda Noar on this A World in London!

For International Women’s Week we spoke with one of the most talented creatives working in our city. Amanda Noar has had a glittering career in dance, television, and stage, and now she leads the Impact Theatre Company, renowned for its superlative productions, the latest of which is set to launch at N12’s Arts Depot next week. Adapting a popular film like ‘Made in Dagenham’ is no easy task, but Amanda has pulled together a sensational cast, crew, and band to re-tell the true story of how a group of feisty Essex women working at the Ford Motor Company plant in Dagenham shattered some glass ceilings in the 1960’s, eventually leading to the 1970 Equal Pay Act. Book your tickets now ‘Made in Dagenham – the Musical’, at the Arts Depot  March 14 – 17, including charity performances raising funds for North London Hospice & Action On Hearing Loss.

Also on this AWIL check out our latest selection of the best new international CDs with Sophie Darling, Norman Druker, and DJ Ritu!
