The hectic pace of life in London means that Christmas never comes until something special zaps it into focus. Two musical magicians waved their eloquent wands on our last show of 2017, conjuring up a glorious chorus of angels & sleigh bells into the ultimate Xmas cracker! Multi-instrumentalist/songwriter, Sofia Pechlivani and charismatic vocalist Marina Deligianni have outstanding individual attributes & incredible magnetism. They are chief contributors to the London Greek music scene, enhancing the Rebet Asker series at the Green Note in Camden, bands like Plastikes Karekles, the annual Rebetiko Carnival, and an exciting new project – the Rebetiko Choir. But on Friday nights, at a restaurant in Finsbury Park, Marina & Sofia have merged as a perfectly blended woman-only duo where the ladies night is on stage as well as in the ladies room! We brought them out of the ‘bathroom sessions’ and into our studio for a delicious seasonal gift to you!
