SOAS Digital is a social enterprise specialising in the production of bespoke audiovisual content for the academic and not-for-profit sector.
Our fully inclusive service provides advice and production of podcasts in audio or video formats of lectures, seminars, training guides, interviews and ancillary content for educational and promotional purposes. All the content produced is designed to be made available on desktop computers, iPads, tablets and smartphones.
SOAS Digital also provides content distribution services using open-source platforms -Mediacore, Drupal, Joomla- and commercially available platforms such as iTunes and YouTube.
With a recording studio conveniently located at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London in Russell Square, central London, our team is able to work with academics and non-media experts in the creation of podcasts and videos, providing advice on best practices and production values.
SOAS Radio studio is equipped with the latest video and audio technology, including multi-track recording and HD Video in a fully sound-proofed studio setting.
SOAS has the largest centre of non-european language teaching, which put us in a unique position to produce multilingual content. Available languages include: Japanese, Mandarin, Arabic and other european and non-european languages.
