Marx, Finance, and Financialization

Marx, Finance, and Financialization: One day workshop Presented by Research on Money and Finance (Economics, SOAS), together with the Neoliberalism, Globalisation, and States Research Cluster (Development Studies, SOAS) The one-day SOAS Marx, Finance, and Financialization workshop brought together an international field of scholars working on issues of finance from a Marxian-inspired framework. The workshop day was structured into three sessions of two hours each. The idea was to have substantive engagement and feedback for each presenter to improve their papers for publication, while offering a forum for interested people to participate in stimulating discussions on Marxist approaches to finance.

Thomas Marois introduces the one-day workshop on Marx, Finance, and Financialization held at SOAS on Saturday, 27 November 2010.
