Radio SOS - Episode 1

The first bottle bobs around the Atlantic, beginning with some Afro-Brazilian Jazz (Adriano Adewale), and continues with several contemporary West African artists from the Congo (Staff Benda Billi), Mali (Vieux Farka Toure, Oumou Sangare, Rokia Traore) and Nigeria (Seun Kuti). There are a couple of interludes for a classic Afro-jazz track by Manu Dibangu and some Hispanic politics from Manu Chao. Finally washing up on the shores of Cape Verde with Sara Tavares.
