Hackney Globetrotter Episode 17
A very tropical session in store in this week's Hackney Globetrotter, with less of the bangers and more of the rootsy selection. Plenty of new releases, great albums and compilations to dig into and mainly on an afro/latino tip. There is new music from Mojaraa Electrica out of Colombia, as well as the Cumbia selection - four in a row this time. Compilation tracks from a new Orchestre Poly Rythmo de Cotonou Vol 2 comp, another track from the new Soundway TUMBÉLÉ! French Caribbean comp, Soukous from canda Bongo Man on a Rough guide album, some Samba from Far Out Recordings and to add to the spice some Thai hip hop and Indian dub step.
